Main Conference Center (Quad AreaClark, Pacific, Skamania and Klickitat)

Last year, IT began the upgrade of the electronics in the conference center. During the first phase of the project, they upgraded the sound, projectors, screens, and the electronics that control the equipment in the Klickitat and Pacific Rooms. The old equipment was still in the Clark and Skamania Rooms at the completion of that phase.

IT has begun work on phase 2 of this project. This will integrate the Clark and Skamania into the main system to act as a single system in the Quad area.

Chinook Room

We are installing a new short-throw projector into this room. These projectors are nice if you are in the front of the room presenting. They have a minimal area that produces a shadow on the screen unlike projectors that are ceiling mounted. We are looking forward to having staff use this equipment.

More information will be coming as these projects start to come into production.
