ESD Connects will be hosting a Trunk or Treat event at the main campus on Friday, October 29, thanks to all the staff who have signed up to be trunk sponsors. And GREAT NEWS: Due to the CDC’s recent approval of outdoor trick-or-treating, we will be shifting our Trunk or Treat from a drive-thru to a walk-thru event! We will still ask families to sign up for arrival times to limit the number of people present at one time and will have other measures in place to ensure this is a safe and fun activity for families. The information below has been updated to reflect new guidelines. We can’t wait to see everyone’s kiddos in their costumes this year!
A trunk or treat is an event in a parking lot where people decorate the backs of their parked cars for Halloween and hand out candy. Our trunk or treat will take place in the parking lot on the North side of the ESD building. There will be a contest for “best trunk”. Kids walking through will get to vote for the “Kids Choice Award”, and ESD staff will vote online on Monday, November 1 to choose the “Staff Choice Award”.
