Sudden cardiac arrest is one of the leading causes of death in the U.S. Over 350,000 people will suffer from sudden cardiac arrest this year. It can happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere and at any age. An AED is an effective treatment for restoring a regular heart rhythm during sudden cardiac arrest and is an easy to operate tool for someone with no medical background.
Learn how to respond to cardiac and breathing emergencies by learning CPR, and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Led by a certified instructor(s), the course also provides you an opportunity to practice your skills.
When: Monday November 30th from 1:00-5:00 pm, and Tuesday December 1, 2015 from 1:00-5:00 pm.
Where: ESD 112- Klickitat and Skamania rooms
Cost: $20.00 per person
Limited to 24 students per session
To those ESD employees who have a CPR/AED card: Check the date on your card – they expire soon. Refresh your training and renew your card.
