Each year, the Spirit of ESD Award recognizes the accomplishments and commitment of ESD 112 staff members who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, creativity and servanthood in their daily work. This year the ESD Connects team received over 12 nominations for the award. At the end-of-year celebration, one Vancouver campus winner and one field staff winner were announced. Anita’s knowledge of special education laws and procedures is extensive. She manages to assist all staff, even in difficult situations, with enthusiasm and a friendly demeanor.

Randy is a veteran bus driver who comes to work with a smile on his face every day. He has a challenging job and chooses to share his positive energy with everyone around him each and every day.
