The pandemic has made a lot of difficult jobs even harder, and that is especially true for our child care staff who keep kids safe and support their families on a daily basis. As a small token of their appreciation, the ESD 112 Teaching & Learning division staff donated snacks and goodies and delivered them to each of our 22 child care centers that are currently operating on September 17.

“COVID-19 reinforced what we already knew: Child care workers are the most essential workers of all,” says Teaching & Learning Assistant Superintendent Mike Nerland, “Throughout the pandemic, these heroes have come to work everyday to care for our children and keep them safe. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
