For our fall employee giving opportunity we asked our REACH program in the Gorge what they could use to help their students be successful. With cold weather just around the corner, they often see a need for warm winter accessories. They also could really use afterschool snacks for their students, since their grant monies don’t allow the purchase of food.

Please consider dropping off a donation for the REACH program in the bin in the conference center lobby or ordering online and shipping to Kerry Pinney at the ESD main campus by October 20, 2023. To make it easy for those ordering online and to give people an idea of the kinds of thing we’re collecting, we’ve created an Amazon wishlist here.

What are we collecting?

  • NEW winter hats in both child and some adult sizes (students range from K–12, but there are a lot of littles)
  • NEW winter mittens or gloves in both child and some adult sizes
  • Bulk nutritional, nut-free snacks that are easy to store and distribute (goldfish crackers, popcorn, pretzels, etc.)

  • 45 Dallesport/Lyle 2nd-5th grade students
  • 53 Wishram K-5th grade students
  • 35 Wishram 6th–12th grade students

How do I help?
