In this agency, we all have a vital part to play. It takes every one of us to effectively make a blockbuster movie. We show up, suit up and serve.

That’s why on June 16, awards were given to every person in the BIG 8 departments of ESD 112. Because whether you play a starring role or work quietly behind the scenes, You make all the difference. These are the TIMMY Awards!

(Presented by Cybil Shepherd, Bruce Willis, Marissa Tomei, and Ben Stiller.)

Cybil: No other group can make children smile and laugh and learn and play while flying (safely) on their magic carpets.  They improve the lives of entire families for generations with quality childcare, ECEAP and Early Head Start. It’s akin to the magical powers of a Genie in a bottle who is set free to do the work of the villages. Sprinkle in professional development like a forbidden treasure, and you have a department that spreads its magic and grants wishes everywhere. They are the masters of early learning.

Bruce: And the Timmy for Best Animation Film goes to… Early Care and Education.

Bruce: And now, we have the honor of presenting the Best Suspense Film … Will the numbers balance? Where’s the money coming from? Will the business manager shortage ever end? How many computers can do down in one day???  How many searches can you do in pdEnroller? Just when you don’t think you can collect another ESD program debt or outstanding district invoice and live to tell about it, this group manages to protect our fund balance and increase revenue.

Cybil: The Timmy for Best Suspense goes to… Business and Financial Management.
