At an agency full of staff who work on behalf of children, you get a lot of kids at heart, which probably explains why Halloween is such a big deal at ESD 112. At this year’s annual Hootenanny there were a lot of belly laughs, good food, and spectacular costumes and decorations, per tradition. If you missed the event, check out this video: https://youtu.be/inMZKra4-Vs

The contest winners were…

Best Decorated/Carved Pumpkin (voted): Khristy McRobert of Business with the giant eyeball

Best Decorated Department Space (by 1 vote!): Student & School Success

Best Individual Costume (judged): Leah Scouller of CSG as “Kool-Aid Man” (oh, yeah!)

Best Group Costume-Only (judged): Early Support for Infants & Toddlers as “Spice Girls (and two boys)”

Best Group Performance Costume (judged): Information Technology as “AC/DC” with a song parody of T.N.T (“E-S-D”)

Congratulations, everyone! Thank you to everyone who dressed up, decorated, attended and made Hootenanny the fun event it is. A huge thank you also to our ESD Connects team for all their efforts putting the event together each year!
