In house we have a team of 10. I support 28 school districts with 221 employees and 50 contracted employees.

Smaller school districts and ESDs contract with us for their Special Education.

We have 28 districts: Bickleton, Centerville, Dayton, Dixie, Glenwood, Goldendale, Green Mountain, Kahlotus, Kalama, Klickitat, Lake Quinault, Lyle, Methow Valley, Mill A, Mt. Pleasant, Naselle, Ocean Beach, Orondo, Raymond, Roosevelt, Skamania, Stevenson-Carson, Toutle Lake, Trout Lake, Wahkiakum, Waterville, White Salmon, and Wishram.

What are your biggest strengths – what expertise can you share with the group?

I am great at multi-tasking. My duties include: Ordering supplies, professional development for paras and staff, credit cards, purchase orders, core team meetings, ordering and distributing assessments. I handle about four databases. PdEnroller, Right Response, and other duties that are assigned. I receive a lot of phone calls and email daily so I make a list. That is helpful to look back on and make sure everything is completed.

What do you like most about working here?

I like the people I work with. Although the last year as been so different. I never thought I would be excited for a zoom meeting to see and hear from all the secretaries I work with. I also have an amazing boss who communicates well. I really like the communication we have in this department.

What is the best memory you have from your work here so far?

Wow I have so many memories. I have worked here at the ESD for 20 years in different departments. It’s hard to name just one. Knowing that I have helped an employee or a co-worker brings me a lot of joy.
