We already knew that ESD staff are superheroes at heart––serving children, families and their communities every day––but these photos prove it! Our staff had fun showing off their super status on National Superhero Day, whether they were in the office, at a conference, or out in the community.
My superpower is building relationships with staff so that they might be able to hold a little more space for the children and families they serve as well as for themselves. I help teachers and families connect to their own social and emotional well-being in order to support that of their children.
I’m a Chaos destroyer. ( I solve problems, clean up messes, organize projects, edit documents… Isn’t that what we all do??) -and- I freeze a moment (I like to take photos)
My superpower is communicating all the good work our schools and programs are doing, which builds support in the community and helps inform voters who fund our schools!
