The 4th annual Chili Cookoff was a great success, thanks to those who entered their chili, the staff who came by to try it and vote, and the ESD Connects team members who made it happen!
The eight chili entries were:
- Creamy Tomatillo with Mole – Amber Kennedy
- White Chicken Chili – Deanna Fontijn
- Awesome Pulled Pork Chili – Don Wells
- Vegan Chili – Kerry Pinney
- Classic Chili – Jenny Reynolds
- Mild Pork Chili – Brandi Byrd
- Dad’s Famous Chili – Samantha Leonard
- Jessica’s Favorite Turkey Pumpkin Chili – Gahlya Auel and Jessica Kuhlman
It was a very close race, with everyone getting a vote, but ultimately the winner was Chili #1 made by Amber Kennedy. The runner up was Chili #2 by Deanna Fontijn. Many of our contestants have shared their chili recipes, and you can download and print them here.
