Chelsea received the inaugural regional award for her service to Region 3, at WSPA’s statewide conference held February 27-March 1.
The Region 3 award recipient is an individual who is an active member throughout the region. This person has been an active participant in a variety of ways over the past 13 years. In her current role as the Employment & Certification Manager at ESD 112 she exudes positivity and impacts a variety of stakeholders throughout the region every single day.
HR Director, Melissa Kreuder had kind words to share about her team member. “Chelsea Jacobson is known in Region 3 as an expert in her field. She has built a well-respected reputation with school districts in our region. Her knowledge is called upon by administrators, educators, support staff and everyone in-between. She earns the trust of everyone she encounters and she always goes above and beyond searching for a solution in an effort to help resolve individual certification concerns. She always takes the time to answer questions, offer alternative options when applicable and most importantly she provides last minute certificates to educators. This is so helpful to our local school district so they can have their newly hired educators begin the school year on time. Her efforts and assistance ultimately impact student learning by allowing the educator to be in the classroom. Chelsea has a natural way of making people feel comfortable and she turns nearly every situation into a positive outcome.”
Chelsea is dedicated to her work and to the people she serves. Her integrity, character and hard work are illustrations of who she is as a person and role model. We are fortunate to work alongside her and proud of Chelsea’s representation of Region 3.
