A Day in Her Life as a Deaf Educator
Please join us virtually for our May Lunch and Learn! Our 2023 Washington Teacher of the Year, Dana Miles, will lead our lunch and learn session.
Dana will keep it light and conversational, sharing what it’s like to be in her shoes for a day as a Deaf person and a Deaf teacher. She wants to create a space where everybody feels comfortable asking her ANY questions about herself as a Deaf person or teacher at a Deaf school.
At the end of the lunch, Dana hopes you will leave with full tummies, joyful hearts, and enlightened minds, knowing you can make a difference in other people’s lives by embracing them regardless of disabilities.
