Guest Speaker: Sam Robinson, Vice Chairman, Chinook Indian Nation

Non-federally recognized tribes are tribes that are not recognized by the US government as sovereign nations. One local tribe is Chinook Indian Nation who has been battling for 179 years for federal recognition. Come and learn more about the history of the Chinook Indian Nation, and the importance of the federal recognition that they are currently denied.
