If you were in the building on October 31, you probably saw a lot of little green men and women walking around. The alien invasion was from the Early Care & Education department, and most of them were dressed as “Z”.

Z the alien is the super cute mascot of Sanford Harmony, a social-emotional learning curriculum that we recently introduced to all of our ECE Centers for kids ages 3-5. The curriculum teaches kids concepts about things like diversity and inclusion, empathy, communication, and peer relationships through Z’s story of learning how to live and become friends with Earthly children.

Of course, it also doesn’t hurt to hand out candy when making friends.
