Update to Weekly Wellness Walks
The Green Team has partnered with us and is now hosting the first weekly wellness walk which is the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00am. This walk will be an optional Beautification Walk as the Green Team is providing trash bags, gloves, and pick- up grabbers for those who would like to pick up trash along the route! Let’s keep our community clean!
Also, we have changed the 3:45pm time to 3:00pm. So, the walks that are the second and fourth weeks of the month will now be at 3pm to allow for more people to be able to step away from their desks for a moment.

National Nutrition Month
March is also National Nutrition Month! With so many other things to think about, our nutrition might be the last thing on our minds. But it is still so important to get as much nutritious food as we can to fuel our body for the future. Listed below are some tips, tricks and resources for fitting in nutritional food.
General Tips:
• When at the grocery store, focus on foods on the outer perimeter first. This is where all the nutrient rich and less processed foods are located.
• Avoid shopping on an empty stomach.
• If you are trying to lose weight and eat less food, try using a child sized plate.
• MyPlate is a great online resource for learning about, and planning for, healthy meals. There is also an app and several tools that integrate with home smart devices.
