Get to know Micah’s Miles…
Micah is the son of Jeff and Suzie Snell of Camas, Washington. You might know Jeff, as he is the Superintendent for Vancouver Public Schools. The Snell’s formed Micah’s Miles and have been raising money for local non profits while they train and run in marathons.
“Micah is an amazing little guy with a smile that can change the world. He loves rolling in marathons and has inspired a community, Micah’s Miles, that’s committed to making a difference and sharing a message of inclusion through Micah. We all benefit from a welcoming community that sees everyone for the amazing gifts they contribute.”
Over the years the Snells have raised and donated over $87,539 to various non profits through Micah’s Miles. They are currently hosting their own marathon, Micah’s Mini Marathon (only 2.62 miles!) on May 19th, 2024 here in Vancouver. The goal with this event is to raise enough funds to get the childrens book their daughter Mackenzie wrote about about Micah into every elementary school in Washington! You can help by registering to join them on May 19th as part of the mini marathon or just making a donation to Micah’s Miles.
