It’s almost time for the annual and much beloved Hootenanny Costume Contest! This year we’ve put together some guidelines to help groups and individuals plan their costumes. Also new this year: To help the judging, we are asking for participants to register by end of day Monday, October 28, and to select which category they are entering. Download the guidelines and registration form here.
Costume contest categories are:
- Group Performance – 5 minutes max., group must manage their AV needs
- Group Costume – costumes only, no talking, singing, dancing, AV background, etc.
- Individual Costume – a single person’s costume, no talking, singing, dancing, AV background, etc.
For those entering the Group Performance category, Abram Krebs will be available the morning of Hootenanny between 9 and 10:30 a.m. to help groups load AV files onto the designated laptop. Please make an appointment with Abe to assure your AV needs are met.
All the winners will enjoy a pizza party on November 18 from 12-1:30pm, not to mention bragging rights!
We look forward to lots of laughs and displays of creativity during the Hootenanny celebration on October 31!
