ESD Math Coordinator, Molly Daley, the creator of Math Anywhere has partnered with Vancouver’s Juliano’s to bring math play to the family-friendly pizzeria located on Mill Plain in East Vancouver. With help from Effie Triol and printed materials from Melissa Burt, Molly set up pizza-themed math games under the glass tops of Juliano’s tables. While they were setting up, Molly and Effie even had a group of kids come over to ask about the games and play. Established in 2017 with initial grant funding through WA STEM network Math Anywhere! is a community-based project which aims to build positive math experiences outside of school.
