Opioid emergency-related deaths are a national crisis and often can be prevented if the person receives emergency medical care and timely administration of an opioid reversal agent, Narcan. During this training, attendees will learn how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and administer Narcan.

Hello, I work at ESD for the Ocean Beach SD. We often hear of meaningful trainings – events that are usually scheduled at the ESD in Vancouver. Since we are working with children in the schools, it would greatly benefit us to learn too, however it is not feasible for us to attend the Vancouver trainings (unless you are able to offer a full day of trainings or a weekend).
