The agency website is a great tool to share information about your programs, but it’s also a great tool to market to a variety of audiences. The possibilities are endless!
Ways to market on the website
Many of these methods work hand-in-hand and every little bit of exposure can help fill a seat in a PD class or get the word out about a success story or new program. Here are some key areas on the website where we can promote timely information:
Home page slider
The home page, by far, gets the most page views of the website. We rotate out the slides regularly and would love to highlight your upcoming event or program. Simply email laura.martin@esd112.org with your request or contact your web editor.
Event calendar – esd112.org/events
This is where we can add any public facing events or professional development classes. Events are displayed dynamically on the home page and can be added to any relevant program pages as well. We also include upcoming events in our newsletters. And if you want to highlight the event, just let us know and we can create a slider image.
Newsroom – esd112.org/news
Have a recent story about something happening in your program? We want to help share your successes. Simply email your ideas to esdnews@esd112.org or, if you’re feeling literary, write up a story and submit it here and we can help fine-tune the article. Once posted, we’ll share on social media as well as upcoming newsletters. We can also create a custom slider highlighting the article on the website’s home page.
Landing pages
If you have a big event or recruiting effort for a program, we can develop a custom landing page to help with your marketing efforts. This allows us to streamline the content for a specific user or purpose. Here are some examples of landing pages:

Program pages
Every ESD 112 program has a page on the website (if yours doesn’t, reach out to laura.martin@esd112.org) as well as an editor assigned to those pages. Make sure that your content is updated on a regular basis as your program changes. If you have special events or want to link to a landing page, we can add banners or highlight these on the program pages.

By utilizing the ESD website in addition to your other marketing efforts, we can extend your reach. We operate a variety of channels to communicate information on a regular basis:
- Website: on average, about 1,000 visitors per day (M-F)
- Facebook: 1,189 followers, 1,081 monthly post reach
- Twitter: 1,659 Followers, 15.9K monthly impressions
- Email newsletter: 746 subscribers
