At 10:15 a.m. on October 15, 2015 over one million Washingtonians participated in the largest earthquake drill ever, and ESD 112 participated too!
We practiced the Drop, Cover, and Hold On drill right at our own desks in all three buildings when an announcement was made that said: “This is an earthquake drill. Drop, Cover, and Hold On!”
This was our chance to practice together to prepare ourselves for an earthquake. The ESD Safety Committee urges you to review the attached recommended earthquake safety actions if you were unable to participate in the drill or want to learn more about actions to take in the event of an earthquake.
