It’s that time of year where the halls are decked with amazing student art for the Southwest Washington Regional High School Art Show (click here to learn more). We’re celebrating in a big way this year with our first ever Artstravaganza!
Art Scavenger Hunt – March 4–10
- Download a scavenger hunt list here.
- “Find” the items listed among the student works on display for the Art Show by writing the name of the student artist and their school.
- Email or drop off your completed list to Terri Tangalin-Piedra by noon on March 10 to be entered to win a $10 Subway gift card.
Employee Art Showcase – March 7–10
Employees may showcase their own artwork in the “Employee Gallery” or their children’s/grandchildren’s artwork in the “Kindergallery” in the back hallway by the employee breakroom. Any type of artwork is accepted, including crayon art, crochet, quilts, drawings, paintings, popsicle stick creations, etc. Drop off your art and a label to Susan Rahl anytime during the week of February 29.
Not artistic? All employees will get to vote for their favorite employee artist (children’s artwork is for display only, not competition). The winner will receive the coveted “Golden Beret” trophy and a $10 Foode gift card.
Artstravaganza Award Ceremony – March 11 at 2 p.m.
Join us in the employee break room at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 11 where we will provide refreshments and announce the winners of the Art Scavenger Hunt and the Golden Beret Award.
