On Saturday, September 10, ESD 112 CSA members and their families were invited to see how the small, family-run Millennium Farms operates. Peggy Sandberg of Insurance Programs arranged the visit with Michael and Missy Stucky, owners of the farm. Peggy and her family along with Melissa Burt of Communications & Public Engagement and two of her children thoroughly enjoyed spending an hour in the sunshine feeding the friendly goats, harvesting squash, and learning about the cool seeding tool that attaches to the tractor.

Thank you to Michael and Missy for opening their farm to us. We had a great time! (And don’t be surprised if Peggy retires from Insurance to become a farmer.)
