The Quest Academy staff received four boxes of donuts on National Donut Day from an anonymous community member, who included the following note:

Quest Academy Staff,

I’m certain that working with so many children often feels like a war. You are always outnumbered and are sometimes faced with insurmountable odds. Sometimes you win the battle, sometimes you lose. Thank you for staying in the fight. I know that a great deal of their success later in life is determined by these formative years and that school can often be a place of safety for them.

I would like to honor you as members of the Salvation Army honored soldiers during World War I and encouraged them by providing donuts to them during their time of war.

Thank you for all that you do for our children and the futures that you are helping to build in them.

Keep up the great work, Quest Academy staff!
